Fruges Wind Farm Renewal — Decommissioning and Repowering

ESCOFI, in collaboration with EOLREV SAS, wind farm revitalization specialists, led the renewal of the Chapelle Sainte-Anne wind park in Fruges. Three turbines were decommissioned and relocated to Moldova, then replaced by two more powerful machines generating approximately 50% more electricity. A landmark operation illustrating key structural challenges around decommissioning and equipment reuse in the wind energy sector.
